Milk Pour

While you can rent plastic pours, we created this one the old fashioned way... piece by piece from multiple shots.

In our first shot, we added small soap bubbles for interest.  Dish washing detergent works great.

We wanted more action in the surface so I used a can of air and blew into the glass to get some ripples.

I then dropped a small wooden block into the glass to get a larger splash.  Over and over again.  Made a mess.

We used a plastic pitcher to pour from.  We shot 68 pours to get this one.  Curvaceous!

Then added the background. Note the transparency through the glass.

Ryan Stein kicked ass on this retouching!
